How do I disable or edit the Cookie Consent notice? – Gutensite Help

In order to help clients be in compliance with GDPR requirements, we have enabled a cookie notification banner by default on all websites.

"We use cookies in order to save your preferences so we can provide a feature-rich, personalized website experience. We also use functionality from third-party vendors who may add additional cookies of their own (e.g. Analytics, Maps, Chat, etc). Read more about cookies in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If you do not agree with our use of Cookies, please exit this website immediately."

If you are certain GDPR does not apply to you (you should consult a lawyer) you can disable this notification manually (we do not recommend this, because it's a good practice to include on all sites in this brave new world).

Sign in to your Gutensite Admin control panel: https://admin.gutensite.com
Click the "Admin" link from the main top menu, then click the "Site Info" icon button in the body of the page, and on the edit page that opens click the "legal" tab.
Uncheck the checkbox for "Cookie Consent Notice" to disable.
