Is it possible to hide the date from Blog posts?

You can hide the date for the blog posts by editing the Blog Category.

Gutensite Control Panel --> Content --> Blog --> Categories (on the left)

Switch to the Advanced tab.  There's a section called "Display Elements".  The box on the left are all of the available options.  The box on the right are all of the options that will be seen with each individual blog post.  Select "Date" from the right-hand box, then click on the minus ( - ) sign in between boxes to removed it.  

Don't forget to Save when done.
