How do I allow visitors to search my stream?

How to Enable Search on Your Stream

Search is only available on tag-based Collection Streams. You can offer two types of search:

1. General Search – a free-text box at the top of the page
2. Tag Filter – a sidebar widget letting visitors pick one or more tags

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open your Collection Stream for editing
2. Confirm it’s tag-based
   • In the Content panel, make sure the content is set to curate dynamically based on tags.
3. Enable search options
   1. Go to the Advanced tab
   2. Under Search & Filtering, toggle on:
      • General Search (to add a search bar above your items)
      • Tag Filter (to add a tag-based filter in the sidebar)
4. Configure labels (optional)
   • You can customize the placeholder text for the search box (e.g. “Search articles…”).
   • You can adjust the display title for the sidebar filters (e.g. “Filter by topic”).
5. Save & Publish

Now, visitors can quickly find content either by typing keywords or by selecting tags in the sidebar.
