How do I place an image/slideshow in the header of my stream?

When you want to add an image or slideshow to your stream’s header, follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to the "Streams" page using the left-side menu.
2. Locate and edit the Stream you’d like to modify.
3. Navigate to the Extras tab to reveal the header media controls.
4. Upload or Select Your Header Media
   • Click the Image/Video slot to upload a single image, a slideshow of multiple images, or pick from your library.
   • If you add any Conversion text overlays, the system will automatically apply a 50% dark overlay to ensure legibility.
5. Adjust Brightness & Filters
   Just below the media selector you’ll find a Brightness slider and any additional filters. Drag to lighten or darken your header image as needed.
6. Enable or Disable Parallax
   • Parallax On (default): Your header will scroll at a different speed than the page, creating depth.
   • Parallax Off: Your image stays fixed—which also prevents automatic cropping when using non-standard ratios.
7. Control Image Cropping
   • If you’d like to preserve your original dimensions, set Image Ratio to Original.
   • Otherwise, pick a fixed ratio (e.g. 16:9, square) and let the editor crop to fit for a consistent look.
8. Publish your changes using the publish button in the top right corner of the page. 

💡 Pro Tip:

• Combining Original Ratio with Parallax Off is the best way to display uncropped, full-bleed images.
• If you want a uniform header across multiple streams, choose the same fixed ratio for each.
