Most modules automatically stretch their background images or colors across the browser width, but their content (images, titles, text) sits within a centered container that adds side margins. The Full-Width option removes those margins—letting your content span the entire viewport—and only applies on Landing Streams for multi-column or Collection Modules.
- Standard Modules
- Auto-break into columns when you add an image, title, and text.
- Constrain content to a maximum width, preserving side margins for a clean layout.
- Full-Width Modules
- Eliminate side margins for a more immersive, magazine-style look.
- Best for multi-column layouts or Collection Modules where you want edge-to-edge design.
Why Is My Full-Width Module’s Text Cut Off?
By default, a Full-Width module’s height locks to your image’s aspect ratio. To prevent overflow—especially on smaller screens—the system trims any excess text.
- Fix It:
- Edit your module and open the Columns section.
- Under Full-Width Column Style, switch from Image-Based Height to Content-Based Height.
- Your module will now expand vertically to fit all text (though your image will be auto-cropped without manual control).
Note: If your image contains people or critical visual details at the edges, auto-cropping may cut them off. Use with caution.
Can I Control My Full-Width Module’s Image Size?
Yes—you choose your image’s aspect ratio when uploading. The only exception is when you enable Image-Flexible Shape (i.e., “Height Based on Content”) under Full-Width Column Style; in that mode, the module height adapts to text, and your image will scale and crop automatically without a fixed ratio.
